Dr. Urse completed her undergraduate degree at The Ohio State University and completed her medical degree at the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine.  Dr. Urse did a family practice specialty track internship followed by a family practice residency at Doctors Hospital.  After completing her training, she entered private practice in Columbus.  She later joined the faculty of the School of Medicine, University of Nevada-Las Vegas as the Assistant Director of the Family Medicine and Community Health Residency.  She returned to our program in 2000 and has completed the Academic Leadership Fellowship program at OUCOM.  Dr. Urse is board certified in family practice.  Her special interests include dermatology, preventive medicine and proctology.  Dr. Urse has seven children and ten grandchildren.
